Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and determine the role of rural women in agricultural activities and to identify factors influencing women's participation in these activities are. Research methods - descriptive and analytical survey is used to collect information and library studies. Statistical study of 4200 rural women above 15 years of city form and volume samples using the formula Fereydoun Cochran 250 was determined. Cronbach's alpha coefficients were used to determine the validity of research variables, the amount equal to 85%, respectively. SPSS statistical software for data analysis of one sample t tests and Pearson correlation coefficient was used. The results showed that rural women involved in agriculture have the highest participation in agricultural activities and is raising poultry. Average participation of women using one sample t equal to 3/1, which indicates moderate to high levels of participation. The correlation between the number of livestock, the amount of property, participation in educational programs, family size and age there is a significant positive relationship with turnout. The main barrier to women’s participation as well as marital status, preventing men and specialized training is not.
